Brief overview of Poltava and the Poltava region:

Poltava is a regional center of Ukraine situated on the Vorskla River, with a population ranging from 290,000 to 310,000 according to various estimates. The city boasts 73 industrial enterprises and encompasses green spaces covering one-fifth of its area, making it feel both easy and comfortable to navigate. An incredible atmosphere pervades the city, which has been the birthplace of many famous, creative, and talented individuals. With a settlement history dating back to 1116, Poltava is steeped in antiquity. While it was once likened to a miniature St. Petersburg, it is now more aptly dubbed the "Ukrainian Athens," owing to its historical, architectural, and cultural significance.

Excursions to Poltava are immensely popular throughout Ukraine, inviting visitors to experience its charm firsthand.
